Most important improvements coming in the Winter 2005 Edition are:

• Extended floating help

  Thanks to floating help, you can now see full content of fields whose value does not fit within their table cell. It is also possible to view explanations for the special icons showing after records title. For example, floating help will show full content of a note above the icon indicating that there is a note attached to the record. It will show reason for a scheduling conflict above the icon indicating that there is one, etc.

• Report restrictions in access roles

  Individual users access to reports and views is controled by their role in the workgroup. They thus see only the reports and views that they need for their work.

• Time tracking data in separate database

  Timesheets are now entered into a separate database and thanks to that Instant Team now implements timesheet approval, time categorization, etc.

• Task completion status

  Task completion status can now be captured in more detail. Original logical value complete yes/no is supplemented with a  task status picklist that is bound to the complete field.

• Multi value custom fields

  Instant Team now supports fields with multiple values and filtering and grouping by these fields. There is now a new Team field in projects that enables you to specify users with privileged access to project data. Users access rights to detail records can thus now be different from project to project.
