The most important Instant Team improvements are listed below:

• Unread records highlighting
  

  - Instant Team now highlights new and changed tasks, projects and other records by printing them in bold font. This highlighting applies to records that the user have never seen or were changed after the user saw them last time.
  - Users can also force or suppress the highlighting using the "Mark as unread/read" function.
  - This highlighting applies also to databases, reports and groups containing unread records what makes looking for unread records easier.
  - Users can be notified about new and changed records by email. This email automatically includes a record shortcut attachment. In response to opening the attachment, Instant Team is displayed and the user is brought to the specific record.
  - Record shortcut files can also be created by users via the "Save link as ..." function.
  

• Notes and attachments for tasks
  

  Notes and attachments can now be linked to specific tasks. They are then visible in the window of the specified task as well as in the window of the project this task belongs to.
  

• Additional report customizations
  

  - It is now possible to create two new types of reports: dashboard and chart. Dashboards are collections of several other reports. Charts show selected indicators in a graphical form.
  - It is now possible to show more value categories in the right part of a report simultaneously.
  - Right part of the report does not have to be grouped by time no more but instead can be grouped by any database field.
  - Calendar reports can now be created in any database and the user can choose the fields that control to which day in the calendar a particular record belongs.
  

• Additional record window customizations
  

  - Users are now allowed to customize their windows independently of other users in the workgroup.
  - Record windows can contain nested tabs, display a particular field or nested report simultaneously at multiple locations and display historical values of selected fields independently of others.
  

• Easier login
  

  There is a new option in the log in window - "Remember on this computer" - that enables the user to skip the log in window next time she/he starts the application. This is not a new option in Instant Team but it was harder to access in previous versions.

  User guide now includes complete explanation of report customizations.
